I Am The Ghost

I am the ghost that walks these halls, The noises you hear behind the walls, The swirls and eddies that chill the air, The squeaks and creaks upon the stairs. Recently I realised I wasn’t a proper woman. Everything that was taken for granted as being female, didn’t seem to fit. But at the same time I didn’t completely identify with the idea of a “typical” male. I appreciate that these are just stereotypes, but there’s truth in stereotypes. I started this while waiting for a friend, who, it turns out, was waiting on the opposite side of the building. ^^
I finished it while eating cookies with her. She asked me if I was dedicating it to somebody, and I hadn't really thought about it, but since she said that, I guess I did. Only later did I notice all the references to him I put in there. (Hopeless. XD)

I'm not sure I like

It sort of sounds a bit too stereotypical for my taste
